Overlaying Image Channels |
Leica Confocal Files - Images are tiff. Primary acquired data are indexed (8 bit) tiff images. Overlays or other images saved with "right click -> save image -> raw" are RGB 8 bit tiff images
Use Leica LCS software on confocal scanning computer (Laplace) or image processing work stations (Snell or Brewster)
Use Leica LCS-lite software - install on your PC running WindowsXP or WindowsNT4 (does not run on Windows 2000)
Zeiss Confocal Files - Raw data is a Zeiss version of multi-page tiff which is not easily opened with general purpose image processing software. Raw data is generally 8 or 12 bit indexed images
Use Zeiss LSM software on confocal scanning computer (Hertz) or image processing work stations (Snell)
Use Zeiss Image Browser - install on your own PC
C-Imaging - Images are 8 or 16 bit indexed for raw images. Overlays are RGB format
Use overlay/merge functions and save using "save all channels"
Photoshop
Convert indexed images to either 8 bit gray scale or RGB
