Notes on New green solid state 561 nm laser

1. Powering on or off this solid state laser  is very simply done by pushing the green or red button on the small laser control box under the right LCD monitor.  Keep the key at "I" (horizontal).   The laser starts after ~1 minute delay.
2. The laser runs at either full power or off and needs no cool down period when powered down!
3. In the Beam Path window the current user beam settings may have a default 561 nm AOTF power of 0%.  Set this to about 5% initially.  You may want to save this level for next time use with your user settings by pressing save on the Beam Path window.
4. Note that power levels above ~20% may result in photobleaching and cross excitation of longer wavelength fluorophores in multiply labeled samples.  Facility personal can assist with setup.
